Panorama Here we Come!!

Look out!!  I am the proud mama of a 1st grader and a 3rd grader!!  Look at those cutie-pie kids on their first day of school.  Both kids were SOOOO excited to be back at school with their teachers and friends.  Brock is big now, you know, so he said he would show Paige the ropes.  Paige is just excited to each lunch at school!!  How cool!!  Both kids wanted to dress "sporty" for the first day, so here are their picks on outfits.  I am a lucky mom to have such great kids!!

No "BUTTS" about it

Ok, here is the story of the year.  So, we get back from camping and the boys hit the bath.  I come in to find the water a bit on the pinkish/redish side.  So I ask Brock why?  He says that Wyatt has a cut on his bum.  I turn Wyatt around and his butt is seriously bleeding.  I am dumbfounded???  What did he sit on that cut him???  Then Brock gets out and his butt looks the same.  What the??????

So then I gently ask Brock what happened.  Well, apparently, I left my razor in the bathtub, and the boys thought it would be a good idea to SHAVE EACH OTHER'S BUTTS.  I am laughing just writing this.  Apparently, they didn't know that razor's are super sharp and CUT YOU.  Needless to say, add this story to the rest of the Felder's memory book.  No hairy butts around here!!!!

Hello Heaven

So what does a family do on the last weekend before fall two-adays and crazy madness????  WE RAN AWAY!!  We headed to a new location, Yankee Meadow.  By the way, it is our new FAVORITE location.  It was gorgeous in every way!  Tucked away high in the mountain top and REAL fires just made it the best!!  And the best part, NO SERVICE!! No calls period!!!

We got there, set up, and headed down the mountain to eat at the Daily Freeze.  After fries and milkshakes, back up the mountain for a REAL fire!!!  And SWEATSHIRTS!!  We were in heaven enjoying the scenery and the kids had a blast building forts and making "tools".  Wyatt chose to make it his personal "porta-potty" but oh well, gotta be at one with nature.

Grandma and Papa came up for some fishing and dutch oven dinners and we so enjoyed sitting around the campsite visiting with them.  It was the best preparation for a busy volleyball season ahead!!

Let the Party Begin!

Aunt Kristin came to party, and party we did!!!  Swimming, movies, sleepovers... it was a 2-week fun-fest!!!  It is so fun while she is here, and so sad when she leaves.  The kids all had a sleepover at our house and Brinley really matured overnight!!!!!  The put on a rockin' music video filled with shakin' and bumpin' galore.  These girls are really hilarious and the boys... well, they are boys.  Shirtless and all.

Don't get Papa started!!

So my boy is an awesome swimmer-- just don't ask Papa!!! He will talk for hours about how awesome Brock is and that he is the next Michael Phelps!!!  (It's too cute!!) The family all came out for Brock's championship swim meet in Hurricane.  He was a stud.  He got the gold medal in the 100 IM, the silver medal in the 50 Fly, the bronze medal in the 50 free, and the bronze medal in the IM relay.  He swam hard and he was POOPED by the end of the two day swimfest!!!  We were so proud of Bubba.  Our swim all-star!!

Camping with the Grandparents

So a few weeks back, we headed to Jacob Lake with the Felders.  Grandma Linda and Papa Doug and their mini-motorhome met us there and we had a ball.  They were sweet enough to bring Ashley, Paige's favorite cousin, so she was in heaven!!  We roasted smores, went hiking, and just PLAYED HARD.  And my two favorite big boys were playing football, looking so tough.  I love camping!
