Paige and her Adventures

Paige is a special little girl. Obviously, as her mother, I know this, but people tell me this all the time.  Paige is special and she is!   Paige has had quite a 3rd grade year.  Here are a few of the things she did:
She ran a marathon at school this year and was awarded a special medal.  She worked really hard for this and sacrificed a lot of playing time to run this!

Paige played little league softball for the Broncos! Paige was a slugging machine and did a great job this year playing softball.

Paige sang in her school talent show.  She sounded beautiful and was absolutely fearless. Such a little performer.  And lucky for me, I got to ride the bus with Paige to her field trip at the Community Center!  Busses rule! :)

Paige and Grace have adventures every time they play.  They are always outside creating something, building something, drawing something or just hanging out. These girls are sisters.

Spring Break 2016

Spring Break in Washington- GREAT WOLF LODGE! GREAT WOLF LODGE!

Not only was it so amazingly fun to go to GREAT WOLF LODGE with my sister and her family, but Brock had the single most important moment in his life happen.  He won the Jackpot.  Yep, I said it, the JACKPOT.  Two thousand one hundred beautiful tickets came flowing out of the machine, and Brock was loving every minute of it (I think he even cried tears of joy).  The rest of us were entertained with the carni rides and blew all our money on the arcades, but it was worth it!  Hundreds of dollars later, we had a stuffed wolf, a blow up bat, and a blowup superman.  I'd say that it was worth it! (Not even close)

We had a blast the rest of the week with the Thomas clan.  Luckily for us, Brinley is an expert surgeon and was able to fix Wyatt's superman after he kicked it and it popped.  Lots of duck tape later and an inappropriate thong for Superman, and it was miraculously fixed!

Such a fun trip! Can't wait to go back!

Happy Easter!

Another Easter Egg Hunt where the kids said we were "jipped"
and didn't win the golden egg with the giant stuffed teddy bear.

Sounds like a victory for me! Hallelujah!

Science Fair

Science Fair... my worst enemy.

Another year completed! Woo hoo!!  The kids had great projects this year and worked really hard the night before they were due!! :)   Brock did "Which Bridge is Strongest", a question we all wonder about every day (triangle bridge wins), and Paige did which cushion is best for a falling egg, another brilliant question we wonder about every day (peanut butter!)

Paige ended up winning 2nd prize for her amazing work and Brock was happy just to be done! Way to go my little scientists! :)

Happy St. Patty's!

Happy Leprechaun Day! We really got in to the "furry" side of St. Patty's day and decided to sport these sweet furry eyebrows, beards, and sideburns!

Well once again, our leprechaun trap was foiled by those sneaky leprechauns!  So we left out a sign that said "GOLD" next to a big pot filled with gold for them to fall into, one way in, no way out... or so we thought! Those little stinkers had a rope with them and flung it over the side to escape with our gold! Then they left us a rude message that said "NICE TRY!"  You may have won the battle this year leprechauns, but we will win the war!! :)

Until next year....

My Little Actress

My little Paigey was so in her element this year as she performed in Brigham's Playhouse performance of "Honk!"  She was amazing, beautiful, adorable, and looked like a natural.

She was a froglette and the season Spring.  She got to open the show every performance, sing as a froglette, and dance as a season.  It was absolutely fantastic.  The best part was that she had her best pal Grace with her the whole time.  These two are like peas in a pod.  Except for a slight make-up malfunction which involved red lipstick and stained beautiful little faces (I'm talking they looked like the Joker from Batman!), everything went so smoothly and they loved every minute of it.

Now the two of them are performing again this summer in Ramona Quimby!  Can't wait.
