The last leg of the Hawaii trip was the BEST!!!! As we were heading home from Hawaii, we soon realized that if BYU-Hawaii lost to Hawaii Pacific then we would be PACWEST CHAMPS no matter the result of our remaining games!!! The girls were sitting in the airport gathered around Megan's phone watching live stats and rooting for Hawaii Pacific every point!!! Finally, Hawaii Pacific upset BYU and the girls screamed for joy!!!!!! We had done it!! We were the first mainland team to ever win the Pac-West Championship! I am so proud of these girls, so proud of my staff, and so grateful to be apart of this group. With this win, we were headed to the NCAA tournament for the 3rd year in a row!! And... we found out we were heading to Alaska for the first round!!!! UNREAL! Bring on the Championship Rings baby!!
