Celebrity Sightings

So Paige has been a dancing machine lately!  Between ballet and the Pine View half time, she has been one movin' mama!  We love going to the Pine View games and listening to Papa tear it up on the microphone.  He does such a good job being the "voice of the Panthers!"  The last picture is priceless.... so my friend sends me that picture and tells me that apparently she looked on her son's Instagram account and he had posted that picture with the words "Is that Bret Favre at the PineView game?"  She was laughing so hard because she knew it was Chris!!! :)  Apparently, we have a celebrity in the bunch!  Woo hoo!

Beast Mode

My sweet dancing, singing daughter has a "beast mode" and I am so HAPPY!!!!  For years, I have questioned if this feisty mama was going to ever like sports.  Those days are over!!!  Paigey was a beast in basketball this year... praise the lord.  She was a lean, mean, stealing machine.  While the dribbling was a little shady at times, she was an animal and it was so fun to watch.  She did a great job and she knew it!  Pretty much after every game, she would tell her brother, "I scored more points than you" or "I can't even watch your games because you aren't as aggressive as me."  Brock has reached the limit and is playing better than ever just to get his sister to SHUT UP!  Let the rivalry begin!! Way to go Paigey!  So proud of you!

Busy Lives

We have been busy little bees.  Here are some pics of the fun we have been having.  Yes, more basketball games and we even saw the giant red bull!!!! Wyatt was in sheer heaven.  Then Literacy night was absolutely insane... what could be crazier than homemade books by kids! Paige was so proud of her first book as an author/illustrator.  And I few weeks ago, I was able to catch up with my good friend Darice when our teams squared off in club.  It was so good to see her and reunite "Bojangles". (Our awesome band) Then we were also able to go and see the play Willy Wonka at the local school.  The kids loved it and Wonka even gave Brock a sucker! (Which I made him give to his little brother that was crying because he wanted the sucker!)  The last pics are of Paigey giving her first report on the country of Mauritius.  She did a great job and was so brave!!!  Maybe this summer we will catch our breath... but we are seriously having so much fun! :)

Paigey Poo

Just look at these cute little hands.  These are the hands of a dedicated monkey-bar lover.  Paige has come home for the past few weeks with callouses and blisters galore.  Can you say commitment to the sport?? :)

And finally, my baby girl lost her first tooth!  Her entire class is pretty much toothless right now, but we will take what we can get!!!  She was so excited... and the tooth fairy came too! So exciting!

Best Day Ever- Snow Day!!

Bob and Les invited us up to Pine Vally to thier cabin to enjoy the four wheelers and the snow.  The kids were in pure heaven!  We seriously had the best day ever.  The kids loved being pulled up and down the hills on the four wheelers.  Then we all went inside and warmed up with soup and bread.  It was a perfect day and the kiddos were pooped!! Don't be jealous of my sweet hat either!! :)

Good Times

There's nothing like a Dixie State basketball game.  My kiddos have loved going to the games this year and especially with cousins.  And seriously, who can beat staying up until 10:00pm on New Years Eve and banging pots and pans!!! (But not too much... mom just got them for Christmas and she doesn't want them scratched!!!)  Notice the awesome snow in the background too!  It made for a cold, wet, exciting night!!!! :)

Christmas Felder-style

We were able to head over to the Felder's to spend Christmas Day.  What a feast!!!  Grandma Linda really outdid herself and there was enough food for an army... or the Felder boys!!!  The kids got spoiled by Grandma Linda and Papa Doug- actually we all did! :) So grateful to have such a great extended family.
