Disneyland 2015

We have saved a long time for these 5 days... and they were totally worth it.  The end of April we headed to the big D.  Lucky for us, the Thomas's were planning that same trip so we doubled our trouble!!!  We seriously went from sun-up to sun-down riding rides and having fun.  While it was a teensy bit hot, but we managed to survive with plenty of ghetto snacks in our backpacks and community water bottles!!  Wyatt really was the best though... he wanted to ride the California Screamer and he absolutely loved it!!  He is a thrill-ride junkie like his dad!!!  Me and Kristin sat out a few rides as we didn't want to be the "barfing moms", hence the picture of us crying because we are big babies!!  I am so grateful for this amazing vacation and so glad the Disneyland Boat tour helped us celebrate Kristin's 50th birthday!!!  (She loved that.)  Mickey... we will be back in a few years bigger and better than ever!!!

 

Recruiting

This was my driver when I went recruiting to LA.  I walked around the LA convention center all day while he set up camp with his computer....finally we got to take an hour for ourselves walking the beach.  Beautiful.

While the parents are away...

With my assistant having a baby this spring, I managed to recruit my husband to drive my girls to California and Vegas for spring tourneys.  Grandma Linda and Aunt Carlotta wrangled the group and they had a blast.  Horse races, camping in the backyard, fishing... lucky little kids.  The last few pictures are of my little girl wrestling boys at her daddy's baseball game.  They were willing to wrestle her and she's been trained well with two brothers, so they threw down and wrestled... hard.  A few bumps and bruises and no crying... I'd say it was a pretty good day for a girl.

Bubba's Trek

Brock's 4th grade class went on a trek to learn about the Utah pioneers.  They got all gussied up and hit the trail.  They hiked 10 miles and then got a sack lunch and some homemade rootbeer.  The kiddos played pioneer games like tug-of-war and sac races.  The tug-of-war was a battle, but with Bubba in the back, the boys managed to out tug the girls twice in a row!!!  So fun but Brock was so sore the next day.  (please note, Brock has jeans on.  Brock has not worn jeans since 2nd grade.  It was mandatory and he was obedient, but it was sheer torture for this guy!!! :)

Easter in the Dark

Our annual Easter Egg Hunt in the dark and relay races! (Mom smoked Macey this year FYI!)  The bottom picture is my absolute favorite.  Self-Stamping and chocolate milk mustaches rock!!

Spring Is Here

Did someone say "Little Red Hen?"  Why Yes!  I have the star performer of the Little Red Hen... Paigey!!!  This girl worked out those songs like a pro!! It really was the cutest little play and she knew every song by every cast member!  Next was the Dixie Easter Egg Hunt.  The kids had a blast... and thankfully didn't get the golden egg... or we would have gone home with an 8 foot stuffed teddy bear! Whew!!!  The potato sack races were my favorite and please follow Huddy in them on the far side of the picture...  as he goes from leading the race to being completely parallel to the ground in 10 seconds flat!!  Had a blast!!!  Happy Easter!
